Catching up

Wow! It has been way too long since we posted on here. We have lots of catching up to do. So much has happened since moving into our new home last fall. We have made slow progress in our house projects but are moving right along. Slow and steady wins the race right? As of today all bedrooms are painted!

Last winter we lost a baby at about 8 weeks pregnant. It was a very tough thing for me but God's hand was with me through it all and as always He proved faithful. I will never forget being in the ER as I was being checked out. I laid in the bed alone for a few moments and whispered tearfully to God the words from "Praise You in this Storm". No matter what was happening I knew He'd be there and He was.

Two months after losing our baby God blessed us with this new little one. We are so overjoyed to be expecting this healthy little girl. The miracle of life is not something I will ever take lightly. Children are such a sweet gift from God and I am so thankful for my Micah and our baby girl. I will be 25 weeks tomorrow which means we get to meet our girl in only 15 weeks!

Micah turned 2 about two weeks ago! Where did the time go. He's getting so big. He is currently in his room playing "choo choo Thomas" with his Daddy. Choo choo's are his favorite thing right now. We are in the process of preparing his "big boy" room right now. Hopefully by next month he will be in a new toddler bed in his new room.

Well... that was a long and rambling post but I think it caught this blog up to date. Here are some pics of the updates we have done to our home so far. Will post pics of Micah's party soon.
