2 Months Old....

and we celebrated by getting Micah's first shots. :(

I don't know who it was harder on... him or me. It was so sad to watch and I'm glad it's all over... until his next set of shots in two more months.

The checkup went well and I was excited to see how much he's grown. He is now 12 pounds 6 ounces and 22 3/4 inches. He is growing like a weed!

Micah has been pretty happy and playful lately and has even started sleeping longer at night (praise be to God for that last one). So things are pretty good here... besides my sciatic nerve pain... but I am going to physical therapy for that and am making good progress. Hopefully in a month I will be rid of this pain for good.

Already 6 weeks old

Yup... our little boy is already growing up! He is pretty much out of his newborn clothes and honestly I'm not sure the 0-3's are going to last until he is 3 months. He is nearly 11 pounds already. And believe it or not... he actually slept 8 hours straight one night this week. I think soon he may let me sleep 8 hours straight too. :) Oh... and he's started to smile and coo!

Last week my mom, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew came to visit for a few days. We ventured out to the children's museum and the zoo with Micah. It was the first time Micah and I were out for so long. It was fun and exhausting.

Here are some of my favorite photos from the past couple weeks.

Okay... hope everyone has their picture fix for a while. :)

Photos from the first few weeks

Okay... I know it's been a long time but I think I have finally figured out how to add photos now. I will try to be better at posting more regularly so you can all see Micah and how much he is changing.

First Family Photo

Micah was visited by both sets of grandparents in the first two weeks.

Soon it was time for the first bath.

As you can see the boys around here get much more sleep than me.
